Life throws themes, I’m sure you know that by now. You see a rubber duck one day, and then the next day, and then all of a sudden for two weeks you see rubber ducks everywhere. Or words. Like the word “surrender”. The word “surrender” suddenly pops out at you from every shop front, every radio show, every newspaper article or page of a novel. Is it that life is throwing surrender at you, or that you are just noticing it now because that’s where your subconscious is guiding you to? Is there a difference? Does it matter?

Life is throwing this at me right now:

Every moment in life can be used as a tool for change.

Every moment of suffering is a moment that allows you to grow more.

And a life without risks is hardly a life at all.

I keep hearing or seeing the word ‘flourishing’
    Isn’t that something?
I don’t feel flourished, it’s more like breaking through walls than soil but I guess that’s growing too.
